It is crucial that you respond to all Reviews. It shows Google that you have good Online Reputation Management, and your page rank goes up. By responding to a negative comment, 1/3 of the time the negative commenter will change it to a positive comment and or the other third will delete the comment leaving. The remaining 1/3 to challenge or leave the comment unopposed. You have a 2/3 odds of reversing a negative comment by taking the initiative and responding to it.

 Expect one review a week for best success and encourage them to leave attributes i/e: caring, timely, honest….(whatever reputation you are trying to build to set yourself apart from the competition).

 

By not responding to reviews, you increase the likelihood of customer churn by 15%. You have customers that may have spent thousands of dollars on your product or service; it's rude not to respond back and thank them for their comment and review. Plus, it makes them feel more justified in their purchase and gives them the subtle prior hedonic experience.
